On Saturday May 28th, Greek psychologist and author Dimitra Didangelou will be flying in to Berlin to host a very special one-day expressive writing workshop.
Combining the joys of writing, nature and personal growth, the workshop will explore and employ the techniques of expressive writing with the aim of enabling you to write freely and without fear of criticism.
We’ll meet at Berlin’s Viktoria Park and, over the course of the afternoon, Dimitra will lead you through a series of writing exercises and prompts that use nature’s spring symbols to help you find your authentic voice and gain new perspectives.
This workshop is ideal for new writers, if you’re struggling with writers’ block, or if you’re simply fascinated by what lies beneath the surface of the mind. On the day all you will need will be a pen, paper, and comfortable shoes. No previous writing experience necessary. The group will be limited to 10 participants, so please emaildimitra@empowerpsyche.org to reserve your spot.
Participants from the autumn’s workshop are welcome, the subject will be different.
What is expressive writing?
Expressive writing is a powerful tool which uses specific techniques to access buried thoughts, feelings and images. By allowing emotions and life experiences to flow out onto paper, we bring balance back into our lives and promote mental wellbeing.
